Securit — or tempered glass — is one of the most important and widespread glass types produced by Raoom.

Securit — or tempered glass — is one of the most important and widespread glass types produced by Raoom.

We process the glass at high temperatures approaching its melting point (up to 680°C) in Finnish Uniglass ovens, followed by high-speed reverse cooling stages.

This treatment produces glass with superior resistance to breakage and heat compared to conventional glass, and it can be applied to clear, colored, and reflective flat glass. Tempering ranges from 4mm up to 19mm in thickness, with maximum dimensions of 4.7m in length and 2.4m in width.
