Insulated (Double) Glass

Insulated — or double — glass is one of the most popular types we produce at Raoom: a modern German technology praised by experts for insulating both heat and sound while saving electrical energy.

We manufacture this glass from two panes separated by a 10–12mm void, hermetically sealed with Spacer material, then locked with rubber strips to prevent any air leakage.

Raoom produces three types of double glass, with insulation performance varying according to the metal frame quality, spacer thickness, glass color and type — clear, tinted, or coated — and the injected gas, whether air, argon, or a non-conductive gas.
